How To Create A Google Plus Brand Page For Your Blog

Even though Google released its new social networking site in June 2016 it added Google Plus page in Nov 2016. Similar to Facebook fan page Google plus page will bring you more traffic and popularity about your business/blog with SEO benefits. Unlike Facebook Google plus added more features to Google plus page. In this articles I would like to share with you few simple steps to create awesome Google plus page.

Login to your Google plus account

After logging in, on right side you will find an an option to create Google plus page.

Select Your Google plus page Category

You will be displayed with  a list of categories select your blog category.

After selecting your blog category, fill the details like your Google plus page name, URL , tagline and upload Pic. Then you are done.

After creating promote your Google plus page to get visitors.

Edit your Google plus page profile, when you upload your Google plus page you will find options displaying “Creative Kit” like this.

Add Google plus Page to your blog
In above screen second option “Connect your website“” is to embed your fan page to blog. Click that get the badge you will be displayed with options to select the badge size. Copy the code below the image and add to your blog. For WordPress blog go to dashboard under Appearance click widgets, add text widget copy and paste that code for the selected badge.
