HSTU (Hajee Danesh University) Admission Circular for BSc Engg/Hons (Level-1, Semester-1) Programs for the academic session 2017-2018 has been published. Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University-HSTU admission test will be held on October 2018. Online application will be start from September and last date of online application of Hajee Danesh University admission test is October 2017.
Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science & Technology University is the first Science and Technology University in the northern region of Bangladesh. HSTU is relatively new as a university having been established in 1999. However, as an academic institution its history dates back to 1979 when it started its journey as an Agricultural Extension Training Institute (AETI) created to offer three year diploma course in Agriculture. It stands away from the urban din and bustle at a beautiful and scenic location some 13km north of Dinajpur town by the side of the intercity highway that links Dinajpur to Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.

Hajee Danesh University admission test 2017 requirement:
- Students who passed SSC/equivalent in 2015 or later and HSC/equivalent in 2017/2018
- Total GPA 6.5 (without 4th subject) in SSC and HSC or equivalent.
- Min GPA 3.0 in each SSC and HSC/equivalent level.
- For GCE: Min Grade B in at least 5 subjects in O-Level and min 3 subject C grade within Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology/Agriculture Science in A-Level.
- For Unit-A (Agriculture/Fisheries/VDM): Must have Physics, Chemistry, Bio, Math/ Agriculture Science in HSC level
- For Unit-B (CSE/Agro Indus & Food Process Engg): Must have Physics, Math, Chemistry in HSC level
- For Unit-C (Business Studies): Must have accounting with any two optional sub for Commerce students OR Physics, Math, Chemistry, Bio/ Agriculture Science for Science students.
- For Unit-D (Engineering) : Must have Physics, Math, in HSC level
- For Unit-E (English) : Eligible to all
